UllrGrass Music Festival is held in the last weekend in January in Golden, CO at Parfet Park . Night time shows are held inside heated tents. Additional events including the band and troubador contest are held at other venues - please see the events page.

Layers Layers Layer - and, to maximize your Ullr fun you should come in viking garb to help us summon the spirit of Ullr - God of Winter! Viking helmets, drinking horns and leather chest plates are encouraged. There will even be a costume contest with a huge prize on Saturday in the park. Dress in layers, wear waterproof shoes and cover your head and hands. Weather in Colorado is unpredictable and UllrGrass will go on SNOW OR SHINE so please dress accordingly.But no matter what you wear, make sure it's warm! January in Golden can easily get below freezing so dress accordingly. Don't be afraid to put your ski pants on - you will still look sexy.
No dogs, horses or other domesticated or wild animals will be admitted to Parfet Park during the UllrGrass Festival.
Yes, the beerfest and music festival are all in the same area so everyone can enjoy the event together.
Yes, we have a full bar with beer, cocktails, and sodas and free water stations.
Yes, you may come and go as you please for the day/time your wristband is valid.
Please bike to the event if you can - bike racks are available and UllrGrass promotes sustainable festival enjoyment.
If you are driving to the event, please read signs carefully, almost all of the downtown street parking is paid, 7 days a week. An interactive parking map is available here.
· Ride your bike and park securely at one of the public bike racks you will find near the event! Be sure to bring your bike lock!

PAID PARKING OPTIONS
· Jackson Street North Public Garage (MAP) located on Jackson Street between 11th and 12th Streets. Offers paid parking using a parking app or kiosk.
· Jackson Street South Public Garage (MAP) located on Jackson Street between 12th and 13th Streets. Offers paid parking using a parking app or kiosk.
· Street Parking – all of downtown Golden and the 10th Street corridor is paid parking. Check the interactive Map and Park site
· Colorado School of Mines Garage at McNeil Hall (MAP) offers paid parking using a parking app.

There is a lightrail from Denver to Golden as well as options for taxis/Uber/Lyft. Golden is a fully walkable city, but if you're planning to stay outside of Golden, please arrange for a taxi in advance as there is no local cab stand.
Minors under 21 are welcome. Children 15 and under will have free admittance to daytime performances.
Yes, a variety of tasty food truck options will be available throughout the weekend. Food vendors will sell non-alcoholic beverages and our UllrGrass Tavern will provide a variety of brews, spirits and hot drinks. We will also provide potable water onsite where guests can fill their own water bottles or use the $1 reusable festival cup.
